Conversations with the Inspiring Eloisa Juarez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eloisa Juarez.

Eloisa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2014, I started posting photos of my girls in cute outfits on Instagram. I quickly connected with other mothers who were doing the same and started seeing clothing and product brands that I have never heard of before. I learned of brands such as Bobo Choses and Mini Rodini and fell in love. I thought other mothers should know about these brands, so I started posting more photos of the girls in different brands that you can’t find at your local retail stores. I started to notice that my follower numbers were growing and brands started to contact me to collaborate with them. We have worked with companies like Disney, Passion Planner and many more!

Now, I am sharing a wide range of products, thoughts and even personal struggles across my social media platforms.

I only promote things that I love and truly believe others will love!

Instagram has also allowed me to make long lasting friendships with others all across the globe as well as open up my own kids clothing line Arlo & Imus!

A few years back when people would ask “What do you do for a living?” I would be a little hesitant to tell them that I was an Instagram influencer because they would look at me like I was a bit off and it was a job title that wasn’t really heard of.

Today, being an Influencer is actually a ‘thing’ and I absolutely love it!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For me, it was an easy road in the beginning because I started sharing on Instagram before being an influencer was even a thing. The one struggle I had along the way was managing my work and home life but it all eventually fell into place and I now incorporate the two.

My advice to others just starting the journey is to be true to yourself and share things that you enjoy. There will be someone out there that can connect with you whether it be on a personal topic or product that they believe in as well.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Instagram Influencer and owner of Arlo & Imus story. Tell us more about the business.
I decided to start making clothing in 2015 and so came Arlo & Imus. I first started sewing little rompers, tops and dresses for my shop but it got to be too hectic and now I only sell tops and dresses with simple meaningful phrases or words on them. We were just picked up by online store MineMineKids and have been so happy to connect with owner Ginny Hershey-Lambert who has been a true inspiration!
What sets me apart from others? My line is simple. Hand dyed shirts and dresses with words that have meaning bringing attention to human consciousness.

Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
I would say whatever your interest may be, try reaching out to others who have the same interests. Asking questions has always helped me. Don’t be afraid to reach out!
