Conversations with the Inspiring Jamiee Harry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamiee Harry.

Jamiee, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
About five years ago, a friend of mine reached out to me saying she had something for me to check to out. I had no clue what it was, I had not too long ago graduated from college & at the time, I was working as a Fund Accountant. Prior to her reaching out to me, I was in a place in my life where I was wanting more. I was thankful for my job don’t get me wrong, but I knew it had to be something else out there other than me sitting behind a desk for the rest of my life. I just felt like that wasn’t life, at the same time I didn’t know what else was out there. My whole life up until I started working, all I ever did was play basketball. Basketball was my first passion so sitting behind a desk was a big adjustment for me. I was trying to find that same passion I had for basketball in something else. So, when my friend reached out to me, I was open, plus I trusted her. We met up, she shared the info and I got excited, to say the least. It had to do with travel, which is something I’ve always dreamed of doing. It was difficult to do growing up because my Mom was a single parent of three most of the time. On top of that, it showed me a way with faith, hard work, dedication, consistency, discipline, and patience I could build a substantial residual income and create financial & time freedom for not just me but my family and really help my Mom out. I was tired of finances being a challenge for her. Little did I know, that was just the beginning. As time went on, God expanded my vision and showed me how with the help of a team we can impact the world in a BIG way. Not only help other families become financially & time free, but also help them get equipped mentally, spiritually & physically & help build them up into leaders. So, we can go out and impact the masses. Give to the less fortunate, charities, churches & the Pastor’s vision, walk-in stores and pay for people’s groceries, hand envelopes out with money to help people where they’re at & so much more. Plus, become each other’s Investors towards other projects God placed in our hearts.

My story is just getting started.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it has not been a smooth road, but that’s life right? Some of the struggles I faced were financial. Something I learned through a few of my mentors is, in the beginning, you will be overworked & underpaid, but then eventually it flips. For me, after four years of working at my job, I left off of faith (highly recommend no one doing that because it takes a whole different mindset). I wanted more flexibility in my schedule. I took what I had from my 401k & also, I started working Instacart which is something similar to an Uber. I’m beyond thankful for God & Him placing my girlfriend in my life, we actually met through what my friend shared with me five years ago. She has played a major part in believing in me & supporting my dream. There were times when we had to go to events in other states & we barely had enough money to eat. That didn’t matter to me though because I knew the knowledge, wisdom & growth we were going to receive from the event was going to be worth it. God showed me sometimes you have to be the first to go through things so you can help others along their journey. I understood my purpose was bigger than any challenge I faced or may face in the future. That process alone strengthened me, at the same time, it took complete faith in God. In that time, He developed me & grew me like no other & I am constantly growing every day.

For young women who are just starting their journey, understand there’s no testimony without a test. I learned that from my mentors & I also experienced it myself. In life, there’s going to be challenges. Challenges are never going away. There put here to make us stronger, build us & develop us. Have faith that no matter the obstacle or challenge it’s going to get taken care of. Remain focused on the mission. If you focus on the challenge too long, you will lose sight of the mission & what you need to do in your day to day to keep making little steps forward. Remember this, what you focus on expands! & God got you!!!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into GSN by way of Dreamtrips story. Tell us more about it.

I help teach & build people up through the things I’ve learned from my mentors and my very own experiences. That way they can be the best in all aspects. I believe what sets me apart from others is my heart & love for people. I have the ability to speak life/lift up people in a unique way. Also, one of my gifts is being able to communicate & cast vision to others clearly, where a toddler could understand.

There’s many, but the one thing that I absolutely love about our organization/company, and also believe sets us apart from other companies is our foundation is God & we genuinely care about people’s personal, spiritual, physical & financial growth.

Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
