Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Guignard.
Stephanie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been a pediatric nurse, visiting patients in my community, for over 15 years. I love being able to visit with families and provide education. When I had the opportunity to practice my advanced nursing skills in my own community, I was excited to bring the service that families love without them ever having to leave the couch! Healthcare is evolving. The way we deliver it needs to change as well. Families expect quality care and Mom’s Choice Mobile Healthcare provides unparalleled urgent care in the comfort of the family’s home. We see patients, newborn to 18, for cold and flu, stomach bugs, asthma, strep, and more most days of the week, with extended hours.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business can be tricky… the hardest part for my business was becoming credentialed with health insurance companies. With a business niche, having the right support is key. I had friends and family who were skilled in various areas that were able to help me launch. Network, Network, Network!

what should we know about Mom’s Choice Mobile Healthcare? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I love what I do! I see this business as an opportunity to serve. Families are excited about the prospect of not having to get the whole family out, expose them to unnecessary germs and receive better care than they would a traditional urgent care facility. I am passionate about providing quality care to each patient and partnering with parents to help with each child’s unique needs. Additionally, I recently had the wonderful opportunity to serve foster/adoptive families in the area as well. If I can help families stay well and serve, I have succeeded at what I do best, caring for patients.

I love the podcast and audiobooks! I’m always learning and stretching myself. Podcasts that are applicable to healthcare are great! I also use apps that are helpful in the field of medicine… Medscape, Epocrates, and AAP are a few of my go-to medical resources. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, start one yourself. God created us for a unique purpose and we all have something to contribute in this great big world!
