Today we’d like to introduce you to Vicky Gouge.
Vicky Gouge began her creative journey at an early age with a constant passion for drawing and sketching. This passion was the foundation for her excellence in the arts and the numerous awards she won for her creative artwork.
Vicky has gone on to work in every aspect of graphic design and marketing, lending to her expansive knowledge of the industry. As Principal of Full Moon Design Group for almost 16 years, Vicky brings to the company a fervor and drive for accomplishment and advancement. Her focus is to build long term relationships by offering cutting edge design solutions and top-notch client service. She believes that building long-lasting client relationships is crucial to everyone’s success, and it is this belief that is the foundation to Full Moon’s exponential growth.
Vicky currently resides on the Board of Directors for Dash for the Beads and is a founding partner of Keep Oak Cliff Beautiful. When she’s not busy trying to conquer the world, you can find her relaxing by a pool with a cold beer in hand with the music streaming!
Has it been a smooth road?
Deciding to start your own business is never an easy task. I attribute lots of failures to my success over the years. I’ve also learned to surround myself with experts who help support my business. While it’s important to be aware of the inner workings of your company I certainly will pay a CPA to file my taxes. My biggest advice to women just starting their journey is to ask lots of questions, understand and be flexible to making changes in your business to be more efficient and profitable, and be sure budget for marketing.

We like to have fun and are devoted to exceeding our clients’ expectations. We are committed to helping you “expose yourself” through innovative design. Our mission is to produce custom marketing materials that clearly and creatively state your message. At Full Moon Design Group, we consult with you through collaboration we will offer cost-effective and creative solutions to maximize your budget.
What sets us apart is that we work with clients to provide them creative solutions to fit their budgets. We understand that business owners usually just beginning are on tight budgets. We help them step by step to help their brand come to life.
From there, I work with clients to create effective marketing strategies. (you don’t have a business without marketing it in some way)
For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
I recently renewed my HUB and WBE certifications. These are designed to help women and minority-owned companies receive bids from govt. accounts.
There are tons of opportunities in all types of industries where women are well positioned. I personally feel the opportunity is what the individual makes of it.
