Today we’d like to introduce you to 59 Kane.
Hi 59, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name Demori Chance Artist Name 59Kane 26yrs old. I’m originally from Madison IL 15 mins east of Saint Louis Missouri, but now I stay in Dallas Tx. I’ve currently signed to my own label 1000 Entertainment in association with Cashfeddy Street Team. I started doing music at age 13/14 with inspiration from my close cousin Kimora Williams aka Killa KI. She distilled in me the value of being yourself and that telling my story wasn’t a curse but a blessing, especially with the way I delivered them. I then eventually went on to sign with 1000 Ent which was overseen by Jermell “Hoolio” Lovett at the time which catapulted my career into rise in 2012/13. A few years after Jermell would be killed due to gun violence in the small city of Madison Illinois which lead me into a depression and caused me to fall back from music but I didn’t completely stop. Being the FACE of the label at the time, it gave me a sense of responsibility and commitment to keep the name that made me who I was alive. 2016/17 came I ended up with another upcoming local label by the name of “Black Glove Entertainment” owned and operated by Michael Glover Sr which he created a whole new world and wave for me to dive into musically because of the production/recording studio he had built exclusively for the artist, which I had the pleasure of having Hoolio come down to mike studio and we all shared a moment that I was so serious to have happen seeing that I was under both labels at one point in time. After the death of Jermell, I gave my full commitment to BGE and went on record as the TOP artist under that label alongside Bigg Do$e. Few years later that came to an end, due to private reasons I wish not to name and that pushed me out as a solo upcoming artist with a small buzz around my name from previous relationships and connections made up until that point of leaving Black Glove Ent. 2018 I went on to sign a management deal with CHILITES Management Owned and Operated by Marquita “CHI” Robinson & Myself Being Co-Owner becoming 59Kane and made my name RISE in the underground music scene as one of those TOP artists you had to work with, be around, or network with because of the level of success I created for myself and my brand. A year later I became a free agent again and picked up and rebranded 1000 Entertainment as One1Kay Entertainment and signed myself as the owner and only artist. As of 2022 I’m still operating and doing business as 59Kane of One1Kay Entertainment and making a bigger wave and name for myself now living in Texas.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road. And if anyone tells you it, has it’s either they had things handed to them or was born into the music game. Grinding from the bottom or getting it out the mud as we call it, it’s lonely sometimes, sometimes it gets dark and depressing because of the struggles in your everyday life that have left you feeling weak and lost. The loss of close family and friends, the long studio nights, or nights you couldn’t pay for studio because bills were due or family needed something. This journey for me haven’t been easy at all, but I would change what I went through for anything in the world because the struggles I had to get here made me the authentic artist I am today and I’m grateful for what I’ve been through. Just don’t give up

I specialize in songwriting Ima all-around artist that’s very versatile covering all genres of music.
I’m known for my storytelling, my dynamic deliver, my well-structured bars and metaphors, and ability to rap and sing all on one song. I’m most proud of the man I’ve grown to become and how far I’ve come as an unsigned artist and how much more work I got to do to get even further. What sets me apart from others is that I’m able to grab people’s ears with the real-life struggles I’ve faced that I put into my music. The organic and authentic feel to music I give that leaves people hooked and wanting to hear more. My ability to change and help people with their everyday life.

What makes me happy is genuine love and support because my whole brand is built on love & loyalty and I feel long I have and give those 2-character traits I’ll FOREVER feel the same love and support back from my peers and fans.
