Hi Alexis, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In October, I started selling handmade jewelry on major marketplaces such as Amazon and Etsy as a hobby, which then organically grew and did so exponentially. And naturally, jewelry soon became a passion, and I decided that I wanted to create a brand, not just a shop. I launched Deluna in 2020 with a goal to create a brand that sells not only products but also experience, value, and dialogue. And that’s how Deluna came to life; I wanted to offer the same high quality, highly ranked, highly-reviewed products at a fraction of retail price that now has a vision, a brand identity, and its own story to tell.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, as this is a highly saturated and competitive industry. And with no investors but only funds of my own, it took a lot of courage, patience, and faith to get through the bumpy roads.

I design our products and direct all creative marketing initiatives. What I’m proud of and what sets me apart… I would say, is the fact that I have a full, extensive understanding of each and every product we offer – I actually know them all by heart. This allows me to guide my amazing creative team in the right direction.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is a sense of fulfillment and achievement. I’m weirdly motivated by tasks and challenges, and I enjoy being under stress (to a certain extent). It likewise makes me happy to see the end results of what I have worked hard for: a brand, a new collection, an amazing team, happy customers, and such. You’ll always find me looking for new challenges, as a pursuit of happiness is never-ending!
