Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Harsch.
Hi Andrea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My path into the work I do today really began during seasons of my life where I was forced to slow down and reevaluate everything I thought I understood about control, health, and identity. I went through multiple serious health challenges, including near-death experiences, that left me searching for answers beyond just physical recovery. What surprised me most during that time was that the moments that helped me heal weren’t only medical or informational, they were relational. Hearing other people’s stories, especially those who had walked through hardship and found meaning on the other side, changed my perspective and gave me hope when I needed it most.
That realization eventually led me to create my podcast, Wake Up Your Soul with Andrea Lynn, which has grown into a top-rated show built around sharing real stories of adversity, resilience, and transformation. I wanted to create the kind of space that once helped me, a place where people feel less alone and can see what’s possible through others’ experiences. Along the way I also pursued a brain-rewire certification after recognizing how much mindset and thought patterns influence healing and direction in life. Through my own journey I learned that while circumstances matter, the way we interpret and respond to them is what ultimately moves the needle, and that has become the foundation of both my coaching work and my message today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Before the podcast ever existed, I was navigating serious health challenges where even my long-term future felt uncertain. That season taught me to keep living and creating even when outcomes weren’t guaranteed. I stopped waiting for certainty before taking action, because I realized clarity often comes after you begin, not before.
That mindset carried into starting my podcast. I didn’t have a perfectly mapped-out direction or a polished plan, I only knew the conversations I needed once helped me, and I felt called to create that space for others. There were moments of doubt, technical learning curves, and questions about whether the message would resonate, but I kept moving forward and trusted it would unfold as it was meant to. Looking back, many of the challenges were actually part of shaping the show’s purpose; the uncertainty forced me to listen more closely, adapt, and allow the direction to develop organically rather than trying to control it too early.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work centers on helping people navigate adversity and rediscover direction through perspective and connection. I host the top-rated podcast Wake Up Your Soul with Andrea Lynn, where I share conversations with individuals who have walked through difficult experiences and found meaning on the other side. The heart of what I do is creating a space where people feel less alone and can recognize that change is possible by hearing how others moved through their own challenges. I also work as a mindset and brain-rewire coach, focusing on how thought patterns and beliefs influence healing, decision-making, and personal growth.
What I’m most proud of is the impact the stories have had on listeners, people reaching out to say a conversation helped them shift their outlook, make a difficult decision, or feel hope again. What sets me apart is that my work isn’t built on theory alone; it comes from lived experience. After facing serious health struggles and uncertainty about my future, I became deeply aware that information alone rarely creates change — connection does. I approach every conversation and speaking engagement with that in mind, blending honest storytelling with practical ways people can reframe their thinking and move forward differently.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
One of the things I appreciate most about the Dallas area is its cultural diversity. Being around people from different backgrounds naturally expands perspective and encourages personal growth. There’s a strong sense of friendliness here too, even though it’s a large metro area, genuine connection is still easy to find when people are intentional about it.
The size of the city can also be the most challenging part. Because everything is spread out, forming deeper community can sometimes take more effort than in smaller towns. But at the same time, that challenge often encourages people to be more purposeful about relationships, which makes the connections that do form feel meaningful.
