Conversations with Andrew John

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew John.

Hi Andrew , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started at eight years old my mom was a performer. She teaches people about Africa through storytelling called African Safari program. I would always be accompanying her with those stories as well. We would be traveling all over Texas performing these plays for people. It was my little introduction into performance lifestyle eventually when I was in school, I did a lot of place and dinner shows and musicals. My first time actually ever doing anything acting on Film was whenever I was eight and I was on PBS Kids. Ever since then I’ve always wanted to do is perform. I love performing on stages, film sets, commercials. When I got the opportunity to be unfair of The Walking Dead as a When I got the opportunity to be unfair of The fear of The Walking Dead as a survivor. I was so excited that it was my first ever Film job as an 18-year-old.And now quite recently in a span of only 4 to 5 months I have been doing a whole lot of runway shows. Recently, my biggest runway show was at the Dallas Fashion Week. I was walking for Henny clothing and was by far my favorite experience.
I hope to be on many different TV shows and movies films and just perform for the rest of my life. My biggest goal is to win an EGOT that’s a Grammy, Emmy, Oscar and Tony.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were some times where I felt that I was down. But each time I felt that I was down I always found a way to bring myself back up either do money, challenges, hardships, and other such deals. I always try to find a way to keep moving forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As an actor. I’ve worked on many different sets in place. Of the many different forms of musicals in high school, such as Shrek, the musical and beauty and the beast and also many different place such as leading ladies and the Ash girl. But outside of high school I was on film since like fear of The Walking Dead, 13 reasons why, and The Chosen. One of the most proud of is being unfair of The Walking Dead because it actually taught me how to actually be on a Film set. And I’m just happy that I wasn’t just a zombie. I was also a survivor as well.

What matters most to you?
What matters to me is showing the best performance no matter what the cost I always try to show out as much as possible bring as big of a show as needed or as little of a show as perceived. I try to show many versions of variety for many directors designers and people.
