Conversations with Angela Edwards

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Edwards.

Hi Angela, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
So starting my health journey, 15 years ago, losing 100 pounds competing in women’s bodybuilding as a single mom, working for myself, decided to open up a Meal Prep company, do training and be a health coach with partnering with a (Gym) and Nutrition store in San Antonio Texas. Moving to Tyler in 2019 I wanted to continue the vision of helping other women better their selves and knowing that no matter what they were going through, they could overcome more. So I opened up Good Vibes Nutrition on Beckham Avenue where later after five years, we were told that we were having to move due to the building to tore down so we found a location downtown Tyler where we have been here for two years as of September 11. Expanding our vision opening up a boutique store to help other small businesses grow. I love helping other people in casting vision that you can become anything you want to become.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. Going through a trial with the ex that made me lose everything and having to start over was extremely hard and then using my life savings to open up a business on Beckham Avenue in Tyler, Texas to later be told that the building was gonna be tore down just five short years later to happen to relocate costing the same amount of money and start over again.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
