Conversations with Araceli González

Today we’d like to introduce you to Araceli González.

Hi Araceli, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello,
I’m Araceli Gonzalez, a designer by profession, a preschool teacher at heart, a mom, an entrepreneur, and a lover of crafts.
About 15 years ago, I started working with jewelry, and the endless possibilities I discovered in each stone, metal, thread, color, and texture… it’s a magic that simply captivated me. And so, what began as a hobby became my business, Argomi Design, my exclusive jewelry brand, which has allowed me to grow creatively and professionally.
Today, I never tire of innovating and experimenting to ensure that each of my designs is perfect for the diverse tastes and styles of women, because for me, the most important thing is that everyone finds in my jewelry exactly what they imagine, what they need, and that when they wear it, they feel comfortable and their beauty shines through.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t been easy, combining the role of mother, work and entrepreneurship, but I love what I do and with big goals I have been able to move forward with my brand.
I believe that an important part is always supporting small businesses so they can continue to grow.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love designing and being creative; it’s something that always inspires me to create everything that today’s woman seeks and motivates me to continue growing.

I am a teacher by vocation, which helps me to be creative. In my business, what distinguishes me from other brands is that I look for what today’s women want: personalized designs for special occasions.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Being Latina makes us strive harder to grow professionally, being in another country that has opened doors for us to get ahead.
