Today we’d like to introduce you to Aundreya Jones.
Hi Aundreya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a teenager I was always finding ways to create thing that I thought would be pretty. I could take almost anything that I saw and visualize ways to make it a beautiful creation. As I got older others noticed my skill. I then became the “go to person” that my Friends and Family would contact for suggestion or assistants when there was something they wanted created. Trusting the gift and the creative eye that I was always blessed with; when special events presented itself, I would customize treats and decor to fit the occasion.
My Husband, and other supportive Family and Friends started to share my creative talents on social media. People began to intermingle with me regarding some of the creative ideas that were captured. At that point I
realized that I’d really underestimated the gift that was once just a hobby. Seeing how extremely interested they had encouraged me to perfect that gift and to pursue what I truly Love to do. In an effort to provide the best
service my clients I began to educate myself by taking Event Planning courses. I couldn’t help but to notice the growth in my gift and the desire in my heart to do it.
Fast-forward to today; being a Women of Faith I am encouraged daily by a scripture, (Proverbs 18:16). With God, dedication, steadfastness & the gift of the Anointing I serve with complete confidence knowing that my
gift will make room for me in this industry. I am proud to say, I’m a growing and thriving owner of Anointing Creation and I will work continually to create authentic and customary Events with 100% dedication for each of my clients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Embarking on this journey hasn’t been easy at all. Although I love what I do, I’ve had some challenges learning the ups and downs of being a business owner.
So many challenges such as hiring a team, obtaining the necessary Software needed to digitally create. I’ve has to attend Event Planning courses, secure a functioning storage and warehouse space for inventory, keep up with the latest trends, marketing and accounting.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Event styling and planning company, Anointed Creations celebrates ANOINTED CREATIONS! “We SPECIALIZE in OVER-THE-TOP kid parties but provide services for all social events! We promise to not give you just a party, but THE party! Our goal is to bring our clients the prettiest, most innovative, UNREPEATED party ever! Our parties are tailored specifically to the client to ensure authenticity and individuality.” -ATP
Aundreya is 39 from Fort Worth, TX. I am the owner of Anointed Creations LLC. I am a Wife, a mother of three with two beautiful grandchildren. I am also a Ministry Leader for the Body of Christ and a Sprit Led Life Coach. “I’d like to think I have a very fun and vibrant personality, but also very complex and calculated. I’m literally passionate about everything I do and say, and it comes out in everything I create!”
You get a chance to explore and try many different things. “Event planning and designs started for me as a hobby. I would always be asked by family and friends to do SOMETHING.” Whether big or small, they’d call me. Driving, and at the stop sign one day, the name Anointed Creations came to me and at that moment, I saw generational wealth, entrepreneurship, and freedom!”
Satisfying the customer can’t always be easy, right?
I’m sure there are a few pros and cons to the deliverance of the perfect image. “Satisfying my clients come naturally! Once I’ve made that first impression l, the trust is gained, and most times I’m free to create from there. I aim to please, so when I execute an event, I do just that.” Jessica continued by adding, “One thing I always go by is “always deliver more than expected”. That has taken me a long way! Some clients can be hard to please but because I know that I won’t please everybody, I always mentally prepare myself for pushback or adversity. Most times you see the smoke before the fire.”
Every event is different; I’m sure you have your favorites? “I plan and design for all social events. My favorite events are kid’s parties, especially milestone celebrations like a First Birthday. Jessica also added, “They’re so fun and colorful, my imagination goes beyond measures. I feel as though I can be as creative and innovative as my little heart desires lol I have a passion for kids; I think that’s why they’re so near and dear to me.”
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite Childhood Memory is when I was about ten years old meeting my nephew for the first time. I had never experience a baby before and I remember wanting to hold him and love on him every chance I got. My days were exciting just to know that when I’d come home from school he would be there for me to hold and cuddle.
