Today we’d like to introduce you to Barbara Garcia.

Barbara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our land has been in my husband’s family for over 100 years. After raising cattle for generations, we just recently decided to begin selling directly to the consumer.

We are truly a family business; husband, myself, daughters, and sons-in-law are all involved in one way or another.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning a business is never easy. We are learning everyday how to market our business, the best way to sell beef, and what customers want.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
There are many small beef businesses popping up. We are proud to say that our cattle are raised on our property from birth until processing. We strive to provide the absolute highest quality beef. We don’t administer any hormones or antibiotics to the beef we sell.

We are very pleased with the results we’ve achieved so far.

What’s next?
We hope to keep growing our beef business and are looking into selling fresh tallow soon.

  • We sell whole, half, and quarter sides.
  • Price is determined by how much beef (lbs) is purchased.
