Conversations with Bxby Siah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bxby Siah.

Hi Bxby , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved to Texas on my 21st birthday. I just been here figuring out the scenes from the people the money & then i found music as a hobby along the way. It became a passion, started off recording music with friends who already had that passion and that’s how mine developed. I recorded my own music first couple years to find my sound and over time I start finding engineers to help develop my musical presence

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’m appreciative of that. I say there’s beauty in the struggle and it gives you more to talk about in your music. the kind of struggles that faced early on were not knowing how to record myself properly. I would work off of other people‘s recording equipment and they would not have the same work ethic or same motivation I had so it would be me depending on them.. I tried different studios and then I start kinda just finding my way. It’s really no wrong way to do music ultimately. The struggles for me came in the beginning with me not depending on myself.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m definitely still establishing myself musically I really wouldn’t know what to tell you I’m known for other than, shit talking. I feel like other people rap they may have conscious rap they may have you know drill music whatever you know but what I do, I shit talk. I just be talking shit to the microphone you know so I would say that’s what I may be known for. Yeah I’m a professional shit talker. And I’m a smooth guy

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If I had any advice for an artist that was starting out today, I would say just brace yourself find people that’s like-minded. Study artist that are already established in your genre and piggyback off of their blueprint. Be true to yourself. Don’t lose yourself in the music trying to be something that you aren’t as very easy to do.
