Today we’d like to introduce you to Carrie Hunt.
Carrie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my permanent makeup journey ten years ago. My passion grew extremely quickly and grew into a love of teaching and mentoring other artists. I have dedicated the last decade to innovating my skills year after year but most importantly, I have built a business that pours love into each and every client, and in return, I get to watch them become empowered and more confident than before. That is my gift!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. Being an entrepreneur has had many, many challenges and I have almost given up on my dreams several times but in the end, I am so proud that I kept going. I get to dedicate each and every day to making women feel confident and building relationships and for that, I am so grateful. Every single day is unique at Stella’s room. We camouflage, we create and we refine. I am truly so blessed to be able to call this “work”.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a cosmetic tattoo artist and a cosmetic tattoo trainer. I specialize in my signature blended brow technique that doesn’t consist of a blade and heals extremely natural. I provide a luxury, custom experience to each and every client including custom design and perfect color matching. 3 years ago, I began a new journey of scar revisions and I am extremely proud of this. I help women improve scars that hold them back daily from feeling like their best self.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My extreme attention to detail is definitely a characteristic that has contributed to my success. This and my heart!!! I do everything with 100% heart. Whether it is camouflaging stretch marks or tattooing someone’s eyebrows, they will have my full attention and will feel confident and loved when they leave my studio. That is my first priority.
