Today we’d like to introduce you to Dala Neal.
Dala, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started doing lashes 2 Years ago, and I just started back doing hair this year, this has always been my passion and First love 💗. The only difference is now I have a daughter to do this for so there is no stopping. I love doing lashes and hair, I love making women feel good about themself. I love being a part of making someone’s Day by slaying their lashes or their hair.
It has been a journey already and I’m ready to keep turning up and taking those Big Boss Steps 👠💗!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been very hard trying to juggle a full-time job, complete Lash school, and also take care of my daughter. Every day I ask God to give me strength, and that’s exactly what he did. I have been managing taking clients in-between times as well. But I can honestly say I have been doing a great job.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in being a lash artist micro blading technician and also a loc Hairstylist. I am most proud of becoming a lash tech I always wanted to be I have graduated this year, and that is what I’m most proud of because I started out knowing nothing, I taught myself and I procrastinated on going to Lash school which I’ve blown off for about two years. This year I knew it was my year. What sets me apart from others is my drive and my willingness to go above and beyond for my clients.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My cousin Renae has pushed me into doing the things that I always wanted to do which was started lashing and doing hair, she basically was my mentor and still is my mentor. I look up to her a lot and she has helped me a lot in so many ways.
