Conversations with Danielle Hall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Hall.

Danielle Hall

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am Danielle Hall. I go by Passion The Lioness. I’m a Poet, Model, Author, and Actress. I love inspiring people, especially young women.

I started writing because, for a while, I was lost in life. I wasn’t confident about myself. I began to lose hope. I felt like I didn’t belong in this world. Writing gave me confidence. Not only am I helping myself, but it led me to help others like me. I started modeling when the words became too much. I was tired of writing the same sad stuff. Modeling also gave me confidence. It makes me feel beautiful. It makes me feel like I am good enough. Acting is definitely a different kind of boost. I love the power to transform into the character. It’s a special kind of energy. I love everything that I do. It challenges me to be greater.

GOD has been my strength through it all.

My goal is to be known worldwide. To not only be a pretty face but to make a difference. I feel that if one wins, we all win. I want to be that encouragement for the little girls who believe they aren’t good enough.

I am dedicated and determined to make my dreams come true. I will continue to make my mark in this industry.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been easy. I have a condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa, aka HS. I’ve had several surgeries from December of last year to February of this year. I was in a Specialty Hospital. At Texas Health in Fort Worth. Being in there not only affected my mental state. It also affected me financially. I wasn’t able to work. I had short-term disability. I’m grateful for that. It wasn’t enough to pay all my bills and keep my business afloat too. So, I had to hold off on my business for a while. Also, I don’t always get sales through the website or at vending events. I just roll with whatever life throws at me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Poet, Model, Author, and Actress. Everything that I do, I put my all into it. I love inspiring people. While I was in the hospital for two months. I was able to write my chapter for Abba’s Daughters, an Anthology project. Even though I was in pain, I pushed through. Debra Hearns and Rashaunda Williams helped me with the process. I’m grateful for them. When people look at me or hear my story, they are always amazed. GOD is so good. I give him all the glory. I’ve very passionate about what I do. I love to give others hope. I let them know if I made it, you can too. I currently have 3 books, lip balm, and hand sanitizers for sale. I’m looking to expand with more products in the future.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I used to love to skate. That was my getaway. I also enjoyed going over to my friend Angela Brown house. I remember one day, we all took a ride behind her house in a go-cart. It was so much.
