Why You Need a Drug Test Panel
As a long-accepted and scientifically proven, defensible and court admissible method to screen for drug abuse, drug testing has a wide variety of uses.
A large portion of drug tests conducted are for employment-related purposes. Employers rely heavily on employee drug testing because drug abuse in the workplace costs companies’ tens of billions of dollars every year and has a negative impact on workplace productivity, attendance, turnover rate, safety, and more. Combined with a comprehensive drug-free workplace policy, the right drug test panel can help keep your business safe, protected, and running efficiently.
Employers are cautioned to make sure they are aware of any state-specific laws that may limit the substances that they can screen for, how testing is conducted, and what instances drug testing can take place.
If your company must comply with the testing requirements of the Department of Transportation, Trendsetters Enterprises offers the products, services and testing panels to ensure you remain DOT-compliant, specifically with our DOT 5 panel urine tests and breath-alcohol testing.
Drug testing is conducted for many different reasons and applications, such as:
- Employment purposes – Utilized in the workplace for pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, promotional, security clearance, post-accident, and return-to-duty instances. *
- Federal testing – To comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations or other federal requirements.
- Court-ordered drug testing – Testing as a condition of the court.
- Probation – Testing as a condition of the court or probation officer.
- Rehabilitation drug testing – Testing as a condition of a rehabilitation program or other Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) requirement to confirm the abstinence of drug use.
- Child custody drug testing – Testing as a condition of child custody hearings.
- Criminal cases – Testing as a condition of the court or law enforcement.
We also provide Wrap Around Services:

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Thankfully, because of our combined experience, skills and knowledge we have progressed very smoothly. The challenge we have is that we have created a new company and with any new company you must have an action plan to create success. Trendsetters Enterprises has been accepted to participate in the Muse Family Foundation and Zan Wesley Holmes Jr. Community Outreach Center/ Fair Park Cohort/ Technical Assistance Program. Through this program it helps us to overcome any obstacles with which we are faced. We have a mentor and coaches who are experts in business development who will help us take our business to the next level. Additionally, as leaders of our company we are determined to succeed and provide our unique services to our community and beyond. We are constantly working on our branding and marketing to ensure our name is known. Also, being a member of the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association and the Desoto Chamber of Commerce is helping us to gain exposure. We continue to develop partnerships, and collaborations providing projects that will prove to be a success for not only us but our partners and beneficial for our community.
As a partnership with 3-N-1 Trinity Services we are offering a FREE Summer Youth Development Program. We encourage partnerships and opportunities for collaboration that will allow us to offer our services in an effort to enhance other’s business model. We proudly provide our mobile drug and alcohol testing with our weekend 24-hour on-call services. This Fall we will add Finger Printing Services in partnership with a local company. We welcome opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. We particularly look for partnerships that make sense. Because we are able to offer nonprofit and for-profit services, we are able to work with so many in our community.
