Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Harrington
Hi Erica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the hair industry when I was 20, after years of trying to figure out what I was good at, or trying to figure out where I could be the most successful, I looked into cosmetology school and made the decision to finally get into something that I would truly enjoy and here I am 8 years later, thriving and loving what I do every single day!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a little smooth and rocky, but when is life ever easy!
I started in a very toxic salon and stayed way longer than I should’ve but it’s always terrifying starting over, but I’m working for myself and along side my good friends, and coming to work is never a struggle
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in bold blondes and extensions, I truly enjoy getting to make women feel even more amazing than they already do! I love the challenge of getting shown different inspo pics and transforming them into what works best for my client
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Going out to my grandparents farm and riding in the tractor feeding all of the cows(which so happen to be my favorite animal) it was the best part of my summer
