Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Zuniga
Hi Faith, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started photography in 2019 with one of my friends Julie. We started taking pictures at our church of the worship team and events we had there and it made me realize I can grow this hobby into a career and so little did I do that and started to go take night pictures almost everyday of Downtown Dallas buildings and from there I begin my whole career into opening and becoming a part time photographer. Julie has taught me so much I never knew when it came to taking a picture to editing pictures so much of a change in one picture never knew how it was in the creative world and it’s crazy now that I look back it at and how much progress I’ve put into it and I wouldn’t have done it without her help.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Throughout my career journey no it hasn’t been a smooth road challenges and mistakes have been unstoppable but anticipating the hurdles that come with pursuing photography, I understood from the outset that they would be part of the process. Each mistake serves as a valuable learning opportunity, allowing for personal growth, progress, and the acquisition of new skills and walking into a competitive field it’s not easy but I’ve always learned to continue and grow every step of the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a part-time photographer specializing in portrait and music photography. My primary focus is on capturing portraits for various occasions ranging from birthdays to gender reveal events. Additionally, I provide music photography services to local artists within my community, assisting them in acquiring visual content for their press kits and social media platforms. One aspect of music photography that particularly resonates with me is the opportunity to support emerging artists in promoting their work and gaining recognition. I am known for crafting concepts and unique poses that have not been previously witnessed, collaborating closely with my models to bring these visions to life. I am most proud of the progress I have achieved this year, building connections with new clients and friends, advance relationships that have led to fresh opportunities.
My creative approach involves crafting projects that are out of the ordinary. One interesting instance is the “quadruple clone effect” on a model, which involve adding extra legs to the body. While this concept may initially appear unconventional, it embodies a unique and innovative perspective that sets it apart. By popping up my creative visions and introducing a distinctive style to the creative world, I aim to contribute fresh ideas to the industry and setting myself apart through sharp and original photo editing techniques.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My Team of Models have been in assisting me with various challenging projects, always prepared to showcase and participate in every photoshoot. I am deeply grateful for their dedication and support, and I look forward to collaborating on many more projects in the future.
My best friend Missy T I don’t know what I would do without her she has captured all of my behind the scenes footage since I’ve started I couldn’t thank her enough for what she’s done and has helped me put my work out there. As well to all my friends I love you all and thank you for the amazing support!
