Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Mageau.
Hi Hannah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always had a love for horses since I was a little girl after a very brief encounter with a family member’s horse in Idaho. I had grown up all my life in the suburbs of Texas, and not having any experience or encounters with them, I was instantly fascinated by these amazing animals.
I had dreamt of owning my very own horse, and after years of planning and hard work, I rescued my first mini horse as a therapy companion and was instantly hooked! I wanted to share the magic of these small horses with others and make every child’s little dreams come true.
A couple of years later, we’ve rescued several more mini horses, and we offer our magical unicorns to children and families full-time, making memories and dreams come true all over the Dallas, TX area!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Because our mini horses are rescues, we’ve been faced with several challenges from boarding facilities, illnesses, injuries, and more due to the nature of their previous homes. We’ve worked very hard to rehab each mini horse, train them, and get them happy, healthy, and ready to meet their many admirers.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are best known for making every child’s (and parents!) little dreams come true. What child doesn’t love animals? Especially magical animals. We are working to expand into offering a variety of animals in our new mobile petting zoo in the hopes to be able to educate children on animals they may have never seen or may never see otherwise. I am most proud of being able to build this business from the ground up, and I am one of the very few that offers real-life magical unicorns for children to enjoy.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My family has been my biggest supporters, especially my mother and husband. They have continuously supported me every step of the way and have helped immensely to get this business off the ground and where it is today.
