Hi Katie Beth , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

Katie Beth Mihm, Singer/Songwriter hailing from the Texas Panhandle is taking Country music and Americana by storm.
Katie brings her Ranching background and country roots to the forefront of her music. Her sound gives a Rosanne Cash meets Stevie Nicks vibe. She brings various influences to the table ranging from 90’s style country, Americana, to Gospel music. Katie grew up with influences such as Elvis, Patsy Cline, Shania Twain, Mindy McCready, Stevie Nick and many more. Katie began her career
singing as the Female Vocalist for Ri Wolf & The Prairie Hawks. She hit the road touring with Ri Wolf & The Prairie Hawks and released her first EP West Texas Gypsy in 2022. Later than year she began touring with her own band Coyote Rose. Now she finishes the year off strong with her New album Hot Pink Cadillac hitting the Americana Charts.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t. Sometimes being a female in the music industry is tough. Venues have told me they don’t book females. Also, it’s hard to make a living and tour. Many venues don’t pay enough money. They don’t consider the costs of music production, practice, equipment, travel, etc. Being a full time musician takes discipline. Always making time to write and record new music. And
Keeping musicians in your
Band that are willing to work
And travel.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a singer songwriter from Texas. I travel all over performing my songs. My first single of 2025 Here I Go made the top 50 on the Texas Charts and made number 1 on the charts for country in Europe. My latest Album Hot Pink Cadillac is currently climbing up the Americana Charts.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love performing in the DFW area.
