Today we’d like to introduce you to Madeleine Deep.
Hi Madeleine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always felt a strong pull toward creativity, t’s been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Social media naturally became an outlet for that, but more importantly, it became a space for connection. What started as sharing pieces of my life evolved into something much deeper: building a community of people navigating similar chapters and offering a voice to experiences that often go unspoken – talking to you moms!
My perspective shifted even more after I had my first daughter. During my postpartum journey, I struggled in ways I hadn’t fully anticipated, and I quickly realized how little open conversation there was around it. That silence made it clear to me that this was something that needed to be talked about more. From that point on, I became more intentional with my platform, sharing not just the highlight reel, but the real, raw moments of motherhood.
While I’m rooted in fashion and motherhood content, my true passion lies in helping women, especially mothers, reconnect with their authentic selves. I want to remind them that becoming a mother doesn’t mean losing who you are – it’s about evolving while still holding onto the parts of yourself that make you feel alive, confident, and seen.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In many ways, the challenges are what shaped both my perspective and the way I show up today. When my first daughter was just eight months old, we moved to Canada for my husband’s job. We didn’t know a single person there, and anyone with children knows how much you rely on having a village. It was just the three of us in a completely new country, trying to figure out parenthood, life, and everything in between on our own.
In 2024, I unexpectedly lost my corporate job and a week later found out I was pregnant with our second daughter. It was one of those moments that forces you to sit in uncertainty and trust that things will come together, even when it doesn’t feel like it. We welcomed our second baby the following February in Canmore, Alberta, and not long after, made another big transition in moving to Houston, Texas just seven months later.
It hasn’t been easy. There have been moments that truly tested us, individually and as a couple. But through all of it, it’s also strengthened our relationship and deepened our resilience. Now, we find ourselves once again in a new city, surrounded by new faces, continuing to build our life and community from the ground up while carrying everything we’ve learned with us along the way.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the core of my work, I’m a style and motherhood content creator, but what I truly specialize in is showing up and connecting. My platform is rooted in honesty, and I aim to create a space where women feel seen, understood, and less alone in whatever season they’re in.
Over time, I’ve become known for blending style with substance. While I love inspiring women through fashion, what really resonates is the deeper layer – talking openly about postpartum, identity shifts, and the emotional side of becoming and being a mother. I try to bridge that gap between looking good and feeling like yourself again, because the two are more connected than people often realize.
What I’m most proud of is the community that’s grown from that. It’s not just about numbers—it’s about the messages from women who feel validated, who feel like they’ve found someone putting their experience into words. Knowing that something I’ve shared has helped even one person feel less alone or more confident in themselves means everything to me.
I think what sets me apart is my willingness to be both aspirational and real at the same time. I don’t believe in choosing between polished and honest. I think there’s room for both. My goal has always been to show that you can embrace motherhood without losing yourself, and that being a mother doesn’t replace your identity, it adds to it.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Fiction books have become such a meaningful escape for me. Not that I’m looking for an escape, it’s just a fun way to unwind at the the end of the day. It’s a way for me to step outside of my own reality for a bit, recharge, and just have something that’s purely for me. I’m also an active member of a book club, which gives me a sense of community and something to connect over outside of my day-to-day routine.
When it comes to podcasts, I tend to lean toward ones that feel both entertaining and relatable. My favorites are The Bossticks and The Morgan Stewart Show. I love conversations that feel unfiltered and easy to listen to, but still touch on lifestyle, wellness, and personal experiences. They’re the kind of podcasts I can put on during a walk or while getting ready, and instantly feel more connected and in a better headspace.
