Conversations with Meka Moore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meka Moore.

Hi Meka, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I have always been a corporate professional but always kept a side hustle. For yrs. I did event planning and then I took a break because I went back to school to obtain masters. As I started my last semester, I started thinking of my next side hustle, my motto is there is no such thing as too much money. I had seen the 360 spinners at an event and decided to research starting that type of business. By the end of January, I purchased my 360 Booth and accessories to start my Keep It 360 business. I had my first event the following month and have been spinning ever since.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
OMG, it has not been as smooth as I would like, just like with any business. People want an experience that they can’t afford or don’t want to pay for. I am currently trying to focus on doing large-scale events like weddings, corporate functions, and conferences. With the 360 ppl don’t understand they come in different sizes so the prices vary by vendor. My 360 is the biggest size offered, I have a sharing station and screen sharing of your event on a television. Keep It 360 adds an experience to your event.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am most proud of my brand and the experience we provide to our clients. When we finish an event people are pleased and excited. What sets us apart is the extra details we provide. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service to all my clients. Planning an event is already stressful and you need your vendors to do their part and make your event run smoothly.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Definitely have to give Thanks and Praise to my brother Marvin Crawford for helping me start my business, my sisters Courtney and Sidney Crawford for being my right hand and helping me run all of my 360 events. I guess you can say it’s a family business. My sister Courtney also makes all of my Keep It 360 apparel. We all have our own side hustles and we support each other. I can’t forget my girls Katrina and Tiffany they promote my business, show up and help at events, and are major supporters of Keep It 360.
