Today we’d like to introduce you to Mor Volner
Hi Mor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I originally started in real estate in California, where my husband and I were involved in buying, renovating, and selling homes. We loved the real estate market and the process of transforming properties. When we moved to Dallas about three years ago, I decided to get my real estate license and fully commit to helping others navigate the home-buying and selling process.
Beyond just finding the right house, I’m passionate about helping my clients truly feel at home. I go the extra mile to help them establish their community by organizing housewarming events, personally inviting neighbors, and handling everything from start to finish—allowing my clients to simply enjoy getting to know their new neighborhood.
Before becoming a realtor, I worked as a registered dietitian and lactation consultant, which instilled in me a strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Privacy and trust are extremely important to me, and I strive to ensure my clients make sound financial decisions. I never want someone to buy a house just for the sake of buying—I want it to be a smart, strategic investment for their future.
Over the years, I’ve become known for helping clients relocate, purchase investment properties, and even take on house flips. Whether it’s finding the perfect home or maximizing a property’s potential, I love being a trusted resource in my clients’ journeys.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I truly believe that every challenge has shaped me into the realtor I am today.
When we moved to Dallas, it was a huge transition—new city, new market, and no established network. Building my real estate business from the ground up took time, persistence, and a lot of relationship-building. Unlike in California, where I had experience with flips, I had to adapt to a different market and find new ways to add value for my clients.
Another challenge has been balancing the emotional and financial aspects of real estate. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions in a person’s life, and I take that responsibility seriously. Sometimes, this means having tough conversations with clients to ensure they’re making smart financial choices rather than emotional ones. It also means going above and beyond to help people settle into their new communities, which is something I’m incredibly passionate about.
It’s also been a difficult transition having people know me as a realtor and no longer as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or Lactation Consultant. Despite the hurdles, I wouldn’t change a thing. Each challenge has made me more resourceful, more committed to my clients, and even more passionate about what I do.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a realtor specializing in helping families and individuals find not just a house, but a true home and community. I work with buyers, sellers, and investors, with a strong focus on relocations, investment properties, and house flips. Beyond the transaction, I take pride in making sure my clients feel supported long after closing.
What sets me apart is my passion for building community. I don’t just hand over the keys—I help my clients establish their “village” by organizing housewarming events, personally inviting neighbors, and making sure they feel at home from day one. I believe that a home is more than just walls and a roof; it’s where relationships grow and memories are made.
I’m also deeply committed to ensuring my clients make smart financial decisions. My background as a registered dietitian and lactation consultant gave me a strong foundation in professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail—qualities I now apply in real estate. Whether it’s negotiating the best deal, finding off-market opportunities, or advising on investment properties, I always go above and beyond to protect my clients’ best interests.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many of my clients come through referrals because they know I treat every transaction with care, honesty, and a long-term perspective. Seeing families thrive in their new homes and knowing I played a small part in that is the most rewarding aspect of my work.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that might surprise people who know me or my work is that my dream has always been to own a regenerative farm. I’m passionate about sustainable living, healthy food systems, and creating a space that gives back to the land. While I haven’t realized that dream just yet, I’ve been incredibly fortunate this year to help clients purchase their own farms and ranches.
What makes this especially rewarding is that I’ve been able to guide them through the process using my expertise in regenerative farming. From evaluating soil health and water access to planning for livestock and crop sustainability, I love helping my clients not just buy land, but create something meaningful and self-sustaining.
Beyond that, most people don’t know that before becoming a realtor, I was a registered dietitian and lactation consultant. My background in health and nutrition gave me a deep appreciation for educating and guiding people through major life decisions—something that translates seamlessly into real estate.
I’m also deeply committed to building community for my clients. I don’t just find them a house—I help them find a home. I personally organize housewarming events, introduce them to neighbors, and help them integrate into their new community.
And while I’m known for helping clients relocate, invest, and flip homes, I always prioritize smart financial decisions. I’ll never encourage someone to buy just to buy—I want them to feel confident that their home or land is a great long-term investment.
