Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicklaus Farricy.

Hi Nicklaus, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our mission is to change the industry standards & expectations one build at a time. Being in the construction industry for over 15 years, I have always seen the need for companies like Parthas Custom Homes to step up because there are so many contractors and companies out there that simply do not care about finished product, client experience, and simply just doing what is right because it’s the right thing to do. Here at Parthas Homes, we truly believe that the little things matter. The details make the difference between a house and a genuine home where life happens. Buying & building a home, if the opportunity presents itself, can be one of the most stressful and costly experiences an individual or family will experience in their lives. We want to change that societal gloomy narrative here. We want to change the expectation of a true custom home build and tailor the experience to you and your needs and wants, not just to make a sale and move on. We want the experience to be a core memory in your life where you can create a lifetime of your core memories in. We design and build with purpose, so you can live with purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
To be honest, it’s been neutral, I think. The resounding response to our mission and our Parthas standards of build has been overwhelmingly positive. I truly believe in my soul that if the product is right and expectations are right and the final objective isn’t just monetary driven, but morals driven to do what is right because it’s the right thing to do, then the business will come. The biggest challenge to be honest has simply been internet marketing and get the brand out there to be visible. Countless SEO updates, social media marketing, advertising thru multiple online platforms and still very little to no visibility for the first few months. I am confident that the business will come in due time, so patience has definitely been on the forefront.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have worked as senior designer for a large custom pool builder for almost 15 years and privy to be in allot of backyards and meet allot of clients over the years, especially ones in the midst of a custom build. I consider myself to have a special insight that most traditional builders do have due to the fact, I have spoken with thousands of clients about their building experience over the years and its always the same echoes. Builder doesn’t care and just wants my money, all the trades are the same and don’t take any pride in work, and allowances are way under, and we have to come out of pocket with our life savings. So, at Parthas we want to change that narrative from the start. I, personally, create an initial design with the client before we go to the Architect, so we have a gameplan going in with layout and costs, versus a client simply just spending thousands of dollars initially on a home they don’t like and or can’t afford. We work with interior designers from Landry Designs on all plans with our clients to ensure we have multiple professional eyes on the design, so nothing is missed, and that is complimentary on all builds, not an extra cost. What really sets us apart is we design and build with purpose, meaning with do an extensive get to know you with our clients to really understand the individual and or family for who they really are and what their needs are, not just their budgets, and what really makes them tick and then we design from there. We learn about our clients and their desires and how they truly need their home to function and serve them so there isn’t a need to move down the road because they outgrew or under functioned there home. We design and build which standards that are a step up from the industry standards to ensure we are producing a high-quality product but we balance that with lower profit margins so we can offer the above average quality at the same price. It simply just cannot be all about money in the end, it has to be a win-win for both sides. We specialize in the little things, the details, the pride in workmanship, as all of our personally vetted contractors do as well. We raise the standard of build and expectation, so hopefully, the market will follow suite.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
There are too many to name that have influenced the direction of this company, so I’ll just credit God for all the glory. he has led many people into our lives who have given wisdom, knowledge, perspectives. Dare I say even the bad builders should get credit because of them and or their lack of caring has influenced this company indirectly. But God, deserves all the limelight, as I am accountable to Him for how we conduct business, so my audience, is truly just one that matters. If I can conduct business and build as if I he was my client, then all of my clients are in a good spot.
