Conversations with Norma Palomares

Today we’d like to introduce you to Norma Palomares

Hi Norma, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely. My journey began over seven years ago in the beauty industry. At the time, I was simply searching for a way to express myself creatively and help others feel beautiful. What I didn’t expect was how deeply I would connect with the women who sat in my chair—women who were not just looking for a service, but for confidence, for a fresh start, or even just a moment to feel seen.

That’s what inspired me to create Dainty Ink Studio—a space not just for transformation on the outside, but for empowerment from within. I specialize in Powder Ombré brows, and I see every design as a personalized expression of each woman’s essence. For many of my clients, it’s not just about beauty—it’s about taking back control of their image and stepping into a more confident version of themselves.

Over time, I realized I didn’t just want to serve clients—I wanted to guide aspiring artists too. So I began teaching what I’ve learned along the way, helping other women turn their passion into a career and build something of their own. And that’s where I am today: building a business rooted in transformation, connection, and purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road—but every challenge shaped the woman and entrepreneur I am today.

In the beginning, I struggled with self-doubt and lack of guidance. I didn’t have anyone to show me how to start a business, how to price my work, or how to attract clients. I had to figure things out by trial and error, and sometimes that meant learning the hard way. There were moments when I questioned if I was good enough, if I had what it took to make this work.

Another challenge was balance—learning to juggle the business side with the emotional energy that comes from working so closely with people. Because I don’t just do brows—I hold space for women. That takes a lot of heart, and learning how to protect my energy and grow sustainably was a huge lesson.

But I kept showing up. Every struggle gave me more clarity, more strength, and more purpose. And now I use that experience to not only serve my clients at a high level, but also to guide other women who want to build something meaningful from their passion.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Dainty Ink Studio, I specialize in Powder Ombré brows—a semi-permanent technique designed to enhance the natural shape and beauty of each woman’s eyebrows. But what I really do goes far beyond that. I help women reconnect with their confidence, feel beautiful in their own skin, and take back control of their image.

I’m known for creating custom, natural-looking results that complement each client’s unique features—but more importantly, for the experience I provide. I take time to educate, to listen, and to make sure every woman feels seen, heard, and empowered from the moment she walks in. My space isn’t just a studio—it’s a safe, judgment-free zone where transformation begins from the inside out.

What I’m most proud of is how many women leave not just loving their brows, but feeling renewed. I’ve had clients cry tears of joy in the mirror because they finally feel like themselves again. That’s why I do this.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail, the emotional care I bring to every session, and my commitment to results that last—not just on the skin, but in how a woman sees herself. I blend technical skill with heart, and that makes all the difference.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a creative and observant soul. I wasn’t the loudest in the room, but I was always watching, listening, and deeply connected to the emotions of others. I had a natural desire to make people feel good about themselves, whether it was through a compliment, a small act of kindness, or giving advice when someone needed it.

I was also very hands-on—I loved anything that involved art, beauty, and transformation. Whether it was experimenting with makeup, sketching, or helping friends with their hair or brows, I found joy in creating something beautiful from scratch. I didn’t know it back then, but those little interests were planting the seeds for the work I do now.

At the same time, I’ve always had a strong sense of responsibility and independence. I learned early on that if I wanted something, I had to work for it—and that mindset has carried me through every chapter of my life.

Looking back, I realize that everything I was drawn to—creativity, connection, and caring for others—was preparing me to build the kind of business I have today: one that transforms, empowers, and uplifts.
