Hi Omar, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dear [Mark Wright],
I am writing to share a bit about my journey and how I arrived at where I am today.
My path in the music industry began at the young age of 16. Like many others starting out, I found myself caught up in what I call a “360 triangle” of bad choices and misunderstandings about the industry—chasing rather than following. Now, in my mid-40s, I have learned the importance of being slow to speak and quick to listen, specifically to the Holy Spirit. By shifting my focus inward and seeking that divine guidance, my life has changed in a way that no longer requires external validation.
My goal now is to share enlightenment rather than the noise of discouragement for the generations to come, leaving behind a legacy of “Truth.” I believe that you cannot be a great leader without first learning to follow the Trinity. This should be the primary source of knowledge before any other human source, as God can speak through all of His creation. It is His ways and His will that light our pathways, which is truly the reason I am still here today.
I am also incredibly thankful to announce the completion of my second album, “No More Struggles,” which was released on 10/31/2025. This project was born out of purpose rather than a search for likes, views, or streams. I have found that being obedient and having the endurance to stay the course brings much more peace than being what the world calls a “superstar.”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am writing to share some reflections on my journey and the struggles I have faced along the way. It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
One of my greatest struggles was wanting to give it all up, especially after my first album back in 2006. At that time, I felt overwhelmed by the same challenges of the music industry. I reached a breaking point where I prayed to God for a sign, feeling torn between walking away in anger and clapping back at everything and everyone that hurt me or finding a new path.
Shortly after that moment in tears, I experienced a profound sense of clarity and understanding regarding everything I had been through. Since then, I haven’t been the same; my entire perspective has shifted, and I no longer see things as I once did.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am writing to share a bit more about my background, my specialization, and the principles that define my work as a Recording Artist,Writer and Teacher at Rosa Lee Studios, LLC.
When asked about my specialization and what I am known for, I find that my foundation is built on a spiritual connection. It is through the Holy Spirit that I speak, teach, and sing; I do not perform from myself alone. I specialize in being “quick to listen” and “slow to speak.” I believe in maintaining order and alignment, which means I do not simply perform on command like a light switch when asked to “let someone hear something.” I stand firm in this practice to ensure that my work remains authentic.
I am most proud of having a clear sense of direction and peace. In an industry where many are constantly chasing the next big thing, I remain grounded. While I cannot speak for what others do, I believe what sets me apart is the love I show to everyone, including those who may consider themselves my enemies.
