Today we’d like to introduce you to Reyna Morris.
Reyna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Reyna Morris, a child of God, first-generation immigrant from Mexico, wife of 11 years, and proud mother of two beautiful girls.
Before becoming a Christian life coach, I earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising & Design and Visual Communication. However, for the past 13 years, I’ve been focused on healing and leading Christ-centered recovery groups. Having overcome my own childhood traumas, my heart is deeply passionate about helping others heal from theirs.
Currently, I am pursuing my degree in Biblical Counseling, while also offering life coaching services both virtually and in person. In my coaching sessions, I integrate the mind, body, and spirit with a solid Biblical foundation, guiding individuals to find healing and wholeness in Christ. My personal journey through trauma, suffering, and healing has given me a deep compassion for those who have experienced childhood trauma, as well as those struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.
My mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space where others—especially Christians—feel seen, heard, and truly belong. This heart for service led me to build Create in Her Ministries, based in Fort Worth, Texas, where I serve as the founder and life coach.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between faith & mental health.
At Create in Her, we create, gather, heal and encourage faith in Jesus Christ to people around the world. We provide safe places for women to heal, and walk out in their unique God given gifts.
I am also an author, having written a devotional Dear Daughter Live Abundantly Free, three workbooks, and contributed a chapter to Unveiled Voices. Additionally, I run a fashion accessories pop-up boutique and donate 20% to fund Create in Her Ministry as well as other local ministries. Through social media and my various endeavors, I strive to share my testimony, strength, and hope, empowering others to find freedom and healing in Christ Jesus.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been smooth at all! There are life circumstance like mental health struggles, exterior stresses like financial, and worldly challenges of being a Christian entrepreneur and a momprenuer.
But through it all I remained faithful to the vision God gave me and trusted His promises for my life! I didn’t give up when times got hard. That is the key! Remain faithful, rest but don’t give up and have empowering accountability.
I remembered my “why” before giving up! That always helped me get realigned with Gods will for my life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I share the gospel through creativity whether it’s through speaking engagements at Create in her or other women events. I also write and create faith based books and journals so that I can reach a bigger audience for Christ.
My main mission in life is to bridge the gap between faith and mental health by sharing my own spiritual journey. Hoping my experience will bring strength and hope to those that feel alone in their healing journey.
What sets me apart is I pray over people when I sell fashion accessories to them at pop up markets.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I have taken many risk one of them is bridging the gap between faith & mental health. Breaking the silence and stigma with mental health and being a Christian.
Another risk I take is asking customers if I can pray for them when they buy fashion accessories at out pop up events.
Hebrews 11:1 KJV says. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
