Today we’d like to introduce you to Ro’bee Stallings
Hi Ro’bee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Ro’bee Stallings is a visionary investor, creator, and multifaceted talent hailing from Detroit,
Michigan. Though originally from Detroit, he spent a significant part of his early years in Kilgore,
Texas. Ro’bee’s musical journey began at the age of 14, marking the inception of his career as a
hip hop artist.
In 2012, Ro’bee took the reins by hosting his own events, including concerts and benefits. The
pursuit of education led him to the University of North Texas in the fall of 2012, where he
continued to expand his horizons.
As a founding member of the hip hop group Come Up Kingz in 2013, Ro’bee set the stage for
his artistic endeavors. The following year, he joined the Denton, Texas-based record label Gitmo
Music, alongside fellow Come Up Kingz member Snook Washington. Simultaneously, Ro’bee
launched Legwerks ProMo in 2015, aiming to provide exposure and support to emerging
artists and their brands.
Venturing into content creation in 2018, Ro’bee showcased his skills as a photographer,
videographer, and content creator. In 2022, he added a new chapter to his career by joining
GLOAT ENTERTAINMENT, contributing both as an artist and a facilitator for various tasks within
the record label.
Ro’bee Stallings continued to make a mark on the industry, fostering the growth of artists and
brands. His role in organizing events and promoting talent with Legwerks ProMo became
instrumental in the advancement of numerous artists.
In 2024, Ro’bee continues to expand his outreach in aiding the community by dedicating time to
promote and spotlighting local businesses, artists and brands in the DFW area and East Texas
region. Through his involvement, Ro’bee continues to be a driving force in supporting and
uplifting the local creative and entrepreneurial community.

As a hip hop artist, I’ve had the opportunity to release a few songs that are available on streaming platforms, and it’s been incredible to see my music connect with listeners. I specialize in creating authentic, relatable tracks that speak to the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, drawing from my own experiences and influences within the genre. What sets me apart is my ability to blend storytelling with raw emotion, which I think resonates with people who appreciate the deeper side of hip hop.
Alongside my music, I’m also a content creator. I’ve been fortunate to capture iconic moments with legends like Scarface of the Geto Boys, the late and great Texas legend, Beat King, and West Coast legend Nipsey Hustle. Photography is another medium through which I express myself, and it’s all about creating powerful, lasting impressions that tell a story.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to bring people together through both music and photography. Whether it’s through a track that gets people moving or a photo that immortalizes a moment in time, I’m focused on creating experiences that foster community and connection. For me, it’s about more than just the art—it’s about creating moments that people can remember and share.
Ultimately, it’s the balance of music, storytelling, and photography that defines my work and drives my passion. I’m always striving to elevate the culture and make an impact that’s both personal and lasting.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I enjoy the fact the DFW area has everything one could want or need. The thing i like least is the traffic .
