My story began 21 years ago with nothing but a dream and a passion that felt bigger than me.
What started as love for this industry turned into a vision far greater than I ever imagined. I trusted the process, I kept walking in faith, and every step has led me right here.
AR Salon & Suites LLC has now been open for 3 amazing years, and it was built with one purpose in mind:
To empower new stylists.
To give them a place to grow.
To help them build confidence and step boldly into their own journey.
This space is more than a salon it’s a launching pad, a home for dreamers, and a reminder that with courage and consistency, you can create a future that once felt impossible.
Here’s to growth, purpose, and the next generation of incredible stylists.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been beautiful, but not always smooth. One of the biggest challenges has been watching stylists say goodbye as they move on to build their own dreams. And yes it can be bittersweet. You pour into them, you watch them grow, and then suddenly they’re ready to spread their wings.
But the truth is… that’s not a struggle, that’s the mission.
Their journey started here. Their confidence was built here. Their first steps into this industry began inside AR Salon & Suites.
So while goodbyes can be hard, they are also the greatest reminder that the purpose behind this space is being fulfilled.
We’re not just creating stylists we’re creating futures.
And that makes every challenge worth it.

My work is my purpose, and my purpose is people. For over 21 years, I’ve dedicated my life to the beauty industry not only behind the chair, but in the classroom, in the community, and in every space where future stylists dream of who they can become.
I am the founder of Hairmosa Beauty Academy Inc. and AR Salon & Suites LLC, two places built from the heart with one mission:
to educate, to empower, and to elevate the next generation of beauty professionals.
I specialize in transformations not just in hair, but in confidence, skill, and mindset. I’m known for my hands-on teaching style, my passion for state board exam preparation, and for creating environments where students and stylists feel safe, supported, and inspired. When people speak about “Ms. Rocio,” they speak about someone who pushes them, believes in them, and celebrates every victory right beside them.
What I’m most proud of is the impact.
Seeing a student walk in unsure of themselves, then watching them grow, graduate, pass their exam, open their own suite, or start their beauty journey… that is my reward. That is my legacy.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach beauty I teach belief.
I don’t just run businesses I build futures.
I don’t just guide students I guide generations.
My story is rooted in passion, built with resilience, and carried by faith. Every classroom, every salon suite, every student who walks through my doors reminds me that my purpose is bigger than me. And I’m proud truly proud to continue shaping this beautiful industry one stylist at a time.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I’ll be honest I’m a little different.
Most people rely on a long list of apps and podcasts… but my greatest resources in life aren’t digital at all. My biggest inspiration comes from my family, my circle, and my peace.
I keep my personal life very private super limited and I love it that way. I don’t share everything with the world, but the people who truly know me, the ones closest to my heart… they get to see the real magic. They’re the ones who motivate me, ground me, and remind me why I do what I do.
Of course, I enjoy a good book or motivational quote now and then, and sometimes I dive into beauty education tools or business resources but honestly? My best ideas come from quiet moments, real conversations, and the love and support around me.
So while everyone else is downloading apps…
I’m over here downloading wisdom, peace, and laughter from my family and my closest friends.
