Conversations with Sade Lethridge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade Lethridge

Hi Sade, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
To start, thank you so much for this opportunity.

Being a military child, I didn’t grow up in Texas, and moving around meant that my best friends weren’t always nearby. Social media became my way of staying connected, especially since my best friend still lives in Virginia.

Right now, I’m on a fitness journey that has transformed not only my body but also my mindset. In 2021, I reached 270 pounds while pregnant with my son—who came out as a strong, 10-pound baby! Staying home with him gave me time to reflect on my health, but it also introduced me to an incredible tribe of moms online. These women have uplifted me, encouraged me, and helped me grow as a wife and mother.

This experience sparked something new in me: the desire to create content that empowers and inspires others. While I remain dedicated to my work as a teacher, educating the future generation, I also want to share my journey authentically. From motherhood to fitness, from personal growth to everyday joys, I’m embracing my story and hoping it resonates with others.

You can find me on all platforms at @iamsademichelle, where I share my life, my lessons, and my laughter.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wish! Content creators make this look easy, but let me tell you—it is HARD! My children are 3 and 6, so finding time to create content without them yelling in the background is a daily challenge. Like everyone else, I have 24 hours in the day, and I’m working on using them wisely instead of falling into the doom-scrolling trap. One thing that has helped is going live on TikTok at 5 AM. Waking up early and showing up for myself keeps me disciplined, motivated, and connected to my audience.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Outside of being a content creator, I am wrapping up my 12th year in the classroom as a high school teacher. Teaching isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. My high school English teacher was one of the best educators I’ve ever had. He sparked something in me that I wanted to pass on to future generations, and that’s exactly what I strive to do every day.

What sets me apart is that I bring my full self into both teaching and content creation. I show up as a real person—mom, wife, educator, and woman on a mission to grow. Whether I’m in the classroom inspiring students or online motivating other moms, my goal is to make a lasting impact.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
So many women lose themselves after having children, pouring everything into their families and leaving little for themselves. I just want to remind every mom out there: you can love yourself while loving your children. Prioritizing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Make space in your schedule for things that bring you joy, whether it’s a workout, a hobby, or even just a few moments of quiet with your favorite coffee. When you take care of yourself, you show up as a better mom, wife, and woman. You deserve that.
