Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Arnold III.
Hi Samuel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a kid, I was born in St. Louis, MO, into a boxing family. My dad first started training me when I was 5 years old. I later moved to Dallas and began competing as an amateur at 10. By the time I was 16, I had become a seven-time national champion and the number one ranked boxer in the USA in my weight class. At just 17 years old, for marketing reasons and due to the pandemic, I decided to turn professional in 2021, one month before my 18th birthday. Since then, I have built a record of 10-0 and am currently preparing to fight for my first world title at 21 years old.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the obstacles are overcame was losing my best friend a week before my second professional about in my 18th birthday, losing my coach the week after that being a free agent for the majority of my career, sometimes not knowing when I’m gonna fight again.
