I started creating content for social media under the moniker Sandra Said What almost by accident. Initially, I shared bits and pieces of my life online—random, seemingly meaningless moments. However, I soon recognized an incredible opportunity to join thousands of content creators and entrepreneurs in delivering real value through my work. I immersed myself in researching content production to discover the best ways to use social media for long-term success. Embracing the journey, I became a dedicated student of social media, mastering the ins and outs, the dos and don’ts, and allowing myself to start over as often as needed to refine my craft. This path led me to focus on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content, ultimately inspiring me to launch my online boutique, SSW Merch (Sandra Said What Merchandise).
What began as an online shop for t-shirts and mugs quickly transformed into a vibrant community for aspiring individuals seeking a diverse array of fashion and beauty items. It was a profound realization that sharing fashion tips and inspirations, no matter how small, could resonate with others.
It became clear that this journey was not merely about likes or followers; it was about building a community and offering something genuine to the world. Now, my mission extends beyond content creation; it’s about forging meaningful connections and discovering new ways to engage with my audience. The journey has been unexpected, yet it has been incredibly rewarding to witness my growth and acknowledge the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Operating a boutique and developing content for social media has proven to be an extraordinary journey, albeit not without its challenges. Initially, I underestimated the extent of effort required to generate content that appears both authentic and refined. There were occasions when I dedicated hours to perfecting a product or capturing an image, only to discover that it did not perform as well as anticipated. Such experiences were disheartening and prompted me to question the value of the time and energy invested.
Nonetheless, I gradually learned to embrace the process. A primary challenge I encountered was the need to balance quality with consistency. It is easy to become disheartened when outcomes do not align with expectations; however, I came to understand that maintaining my commitment to my craft was equally essential. I needed to establish a rhythm that was sustainable and did not feel contrived or overwhelming.
The rewards of this endeavor have been profoundly gratifying. Building connections with individuals who share similar interests and experiences is incredibly enriching. Social media has afforded me the opportunity to engage with a global community, and that sense of belonging and connection is invaluable. The focus transcends mere metrics; it lies in the impact of my contributions.
Ultimately, the act of creating is synonymous with growth—encompassing personal development, creative expression, and the ways in which I engage with my surroundings. The fluctuations and challenges are integral to the journey, and it is this very journey that continually inspires my return. It is a rewarding and dynamic experience, one that I would not exchange for any other.

What makes me happy are the little things. For example, it brings me joy when someone thinks of me enough to include me in a situation or picks up something, big or small, that they believe I would appreciate. I love laughing with a friend all day over the smallest, most random things.
I am also passionate about creating. I truly believe in the power of laughter and creativity. I laugh a lot every day and enjoy using humor and a lighthearted approach to share relatable moments and experiences.
While I love to entertain, my goal is to make a difference, even if it’s just brightening someone’s day with a thoughtful gift. I believe that laughter can bring people together and create a positive, uplifting atmosphere. My content focuses on staying true to oneself while embracing life and challenging societal norms.
