Tiffany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Tiffany M Perryman, and I’m thrilled to have you visit with me. 

A Bit About Me: 

I wear many hats in life, but above all, I’m a wife to a Navy veteran and a proud mom of two amazing teenage sons. My journey has taken me through various experiences, but at the core of it all, I’ve been a claims adjuster for over 18 years and 

I grew up in a single-parent household, being the oldest of four other siblings. My mother, a remarkable woman, went on to adopt four more children after raising her five biological kids. The values of resilience, compassion, and leadership were instilled in me from a young age, watching my mother navigate the challenges of single parenthood and extend her love to even more children and grandchildren. 

Leadership and Mentoring 

Throughout my life, I’ve always been a leader. Whether in school, within my family, or in my professional life, I’ve embraced opportunities to guide and inspire others. From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a path in business leadership. 

I embarked on an educational journey to equip myself with the knowledge and skills necessary for my chosen career. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management from a college in Texas. I continued my pursuit of knowledge by completing a master’s degree through online education. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my understanding of global business and leadership principles. 

One of the driving forces in my life has been the desire to make a meaningful impact on the world. To bring this vision to life, I founded two dynamic ventures: 

Tiffany M Perryman, LLC: Established 2023 

Tiffany M Perryman, LLC is a platform where I channel my passion for leadership and mentoring. Through this endeavor, I aim to inspire and empower individuals from all walks of life. Elite Adjusting Group, LLC, established in 2016 

As a female in the world of loss adjustment, I recognized the need for diversity and inclusion in a historically male-dominated field. With over 18 years of experience as a claims adjuster, I established Elite Adjusting Group, LLC, to provide top-notch claims adjustment services. We understand that navigating insurance claims can be daunting, and our mission is to simplify it for you. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to ensuring that our clients receive fair and prompt settlements during challenging times. 

Founding Elite Adjusting Group as a Black woman was a significant milestone in my journey. It’s a testament to breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes and reflects my commitment to creating a more inclusive industry. We understand that navigating insurance claims can be daunting, and our mission is to simplify it for you. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to ensuring that our clients receive fair and prompt settlements during challenging times. 

Through Elite Adjusting Group, LLC, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless individuals and businesses recover from losses, providing them with the peace of mind they deserve. 

Both Tiffany M Perryman, LLC and Elite Adjusting Group, LLC share a common goal – to make a difference in people’s lives. While one focuses on personal and professional growth, the other offers expert assistance during trying times. Together, they embody my commitment to creating positive change, one person, one claim, and one problem at a time. 

When I’m not working or mentoring, you’ll often find me engrossed in a good book, letting my creativity flow through writing, or losing myself in the melodies of music. Family and friends mean the world to me, and I cherish every moment spent with them. 

Traveling is another love of mine. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and savoring our world’s diversity is a source of endless inspiration. I often enjoy writing as writing allows me to share my thoughts, stories, and insights. 

In addition to my professional endeavors, I’m excited to share that I’m working on my first non-fiction novel, scheduled for release in January 2024. This book delves into the topic of procrastination, offering insights, strategies, and practical advice to help readers overcome this common challenge and achieve their goals. 2024 holds even more exciting news. I have a lineup of fiction books set to be released later this year. These stories will transport you to captivating worlds filled with imagination and adventure. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to their release dates.

Overcoming Challenges as an African American Female Entrepreneur 

Challenges and obstacles I’ve faced as an African American female entrepreneur in both Elite Adjusting Group, LLC, and Tiffany M Perryman, LLC.

1. Building Tiffany M Perryman, LLC from the Ground Up

Launching Tiffany M Perryman, LLC was a journey filled with challenges. Building a personal brand and business in the competitive world of leadership and mentoring requires dedication, marketing expertise, and networking. I had to work tirelessly to establish credibility and gain recognition.

2. Addressing Gender and Racial Bias

In the field of leadership and mentoring, I encountered biases related to gender and race. Breaking through these biases and earning trust from clients and mentees demanded not only competence but also resilience in the face of adversity.

3. Nurturing a Growing Business

As Tiffany M Perryman, LLC expanded, I faced the challenge of managing growth while maintaining the personal touch that makes mentorship effective. Balancing a growing client base with the quality of service and attention required careful planning and adaptability.

4. Balancing Entrepreneurship and Family

Balancing entrepreneurship, family life, and personal aspirations is a challenge many entrepreneurs face. As a mother of two sons and a dedicated wife, finding the right balance has required careful time management and the support of my loved ones. 

Despite these challenges, I remain steadfast in my commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.
