Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe Huber.
Hi Zoe, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I went to Toni and Guy Cosmetology School in October of 2018; I graduated in the top of my class. I was student of the month twice; I had received multiple certificates for most services and products sold. I then went on to work for some high-end salons to learn as much as I could about the industry.
I am certified in multiple hair extension methods
In February of 2022, I opened my own suite in North Fortworth and have been at salon and spa alliance location ever since! My suite is called Zocutsem; I have had the name for my business in mind since I was in cosmetology.
It is also the tag for all my social media!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change the hardships for the world because if I hadn’t had the tough parts, I wouldn’t have ever worked up enough courage to open my own business, and my business has been my biggest accomplishment thus far in my career!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
In my career, I have found what makes me happiest to create; I love to do fun and creative vivid colors and anything blonde! I also love to do out-of-the-norm haircuts like mullets and shags. But I will always hold a special place in my heart for all over colors and normal services, of course!
What do you think about luck?
Bad luck and good luck have played a role in my life, more personally than professionally. But when it comes to my business and my career, I have definitely had to create my own path, and it definitely has had its up and downs, but I wouldn’t have changed it for anything!
