Hello, my name is Alicia Mitchell. I’m an Educator and Advocate for Social Justice. I’m currently an Enrichment Instructor at a Montessori, Onesimo Hernandez Elementary. Where I teach students STEAM & Coding. I also enjoy advocating for Childcare and After School Programs.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
All challenges are Lessons. Vice versa. The lessons come from the challenges. The lessons I learned from my challenges I experienced along the way, we’re how to allow myself grace and resilience. How to use the challenges as an opportunity for improvement and growth! It’s all about balancing the yin and the yang. As far as it being easy and smooth in retrospect. It’s been about balancing the masculine and feminine aspects of my personality and embracing duality.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
