Hi Adam and Michelle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My wife, Michelle and I have always wanted to open a business. We started in our home garage. We sold a variety of products at discounted prices. After we accomplished our goal, and with many prayers, we realized we should go all in and open a storefront.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Opening up a new business in the middle of a pandemic seems crazy. With small businesses struggling and some closing, we knew moving forward it wouldn’t be easy. Commercial properties are available, but reaching owners was the difficult part. It took us 6 months to find our current location.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Top Notch DFW is a discount store, or a thrift or resale store. We are located in Denton, Tx in the South Denton Plaza shopping strip. We provide customers with quality, name-brand products at affordable prices. Our goal is to be known for our amazing discounts. Items vary from furniture, small appliances, electronics, home items, toys and some apparel and seasonal items. We do carry rare or hard to get items that shoppers may not be able to find in other retail stores. We also assemble our furniture, and our customers appreciate that!

Being a new small business, tucked away in a shopping strip, we are really just trying to get our name out there. We have a Facebook page and Instagram that we update every day with new deals and how shoppers can save with us.
