Hi AJ, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started in Memphis Tennessee, where I was raised for 18 years! Always had a thing for music since I was 3 years old. Started in choir and over the years I developed a thing for songwriting. Used that as a way to get into R&B, 20 years later I’m now going hard at being one of the best upcoming sounds we have today!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t really been easy especially when you come from nothing and had little to no help! 2019 I was so broke I barely even had enough money to eat let alone any kind of money to go record music!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an upcoming R&B artist! So, most people will know me for music and just a fun personality overall! I love inspiring others with just words through my music. It’s a humbling experience hearing somebody was left feeling a certain way to one of my songs, just lets me know I’ve done my job as an artist and good songwriter! I believe what sets me apart is that I actually care to hear what the people want to hear, and I strongly focus on the delivery of any song I touch!
