Daily Inspiration: Meet Alyssa Ceballos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Ceballos.

Hi Alyssa , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I realized very early on that planning events was my calling. Even as a very little kid, I loved creating experiences that brought people together. If there was a birthday party, I wanted to design the theme and oversee every detail. If there was a fundraiser, I jumped at the chance to help make it happen. Hospitality and creating moments that go above and beyond always spoke to me. There’s something magical about taking an idea and turning it into an experience people will remember forever. I love getting creative and watching everything come together in a way that feels personal and memorable.

By high school, I was immersing myself in every part of the event world, from florals and rentals to venues and photography, and far more than I could list. That hands-on experience gave me a true understanding of the industry and an appreciation for the little details that make an event sparkle. It didn’t take long to know that events were where I belonged, and that passion laid the foundation for starting Ignited Events.

Today, I work with a wide range of clients, from large one-of-a-kind weddings and corporate events to intimate gatherings and much more. I really focus on experience-driven events and love taking on projects that are creative and out-of-the-box. I’ve been so happy to watch my business grow and evolve, and I can’t wait to continue pouring myself into it and seeing all that it becomes 🙂

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would love to say that it has been a smooth road, but I truly believe that when you love something and care about it so much, it takes a lot. There have been sleepless nights, countless hours, and a ton of learning along the way as I continue to grow and advance in the industry. With that being said, I am completely head over heels for my job, and it never feels like work. Yes, there have been obstacles, but each challenge has only made me more passionate and driven to create incredible experiences!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am Alyssa Ceballos, the owner and lead event planner of Ignited Events! Based in the DFW Metroplex and beyond, I specialize in event planning and design for weddings, social gatherings, corporate events, and quite literally everything in between.

I’m deeply passionate about experience-first events, creating moments that guests don’t just attend but truly feel, an experience they can take with them long after the last guest has gone home. I love dreaming up out-of-the-box ideas, and yes, it is totally on my bucket list to design an event purely themed around “bubbles.” I figure it would be a popping good time.

I prioritize being fully present with my clients from start to finish, meeting them where they are and diving into their vision, energy, and the details that make their event feel like them. I love finding creative ways to bring their ideas to life while taking the stress off their shoulders so they can actually enjoy the process. I don’t believe any idea is too crazy, and I thrive on turning bold, unexpected concepts into real, unforgettable experiences. Every event I work on is about bringing people together, sparking excitement, and making every moment count. Life is far too short for mediocre events.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is seeing everything come together once an event is in full swing. It’s in those quiet moments as guests start to head out, hearing the whispers of “that was so much fun,” seeing new friends lingering and chatting, and watching full hearts leave with big smiles. It’s the laughter, the hugs, and the shared glances between people who just experienced something special together. Seeing how happy people are with the results is incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do and why every detail, plan, and late night is so worth it.

It’s true – my job is my passion, and a lot of my happiness stems from the work I get the blessing to do every single day. I couldn’t feel more fortunate to create experiences that bring people joy. Beyond my career (well, kind of), my happiness lives in the people I surround myself with, including my family, friends, industry peers, and the wonderful clients I get the pleasure of working with. I adore traveling, learning about other cultures, diving into arts and crafts projects, and, of course, attending events myself… obviously 😉
