Today we’d like to introduce you to Baby Stash
Hi Baby, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Starting since the age of only 4 years old, I knew music was my life. Without my step father introducing me to Hip-Hop/Rap when i was so little, (which some would not think is such a good idea) I wouldn’t be where i’m at today and on the path i’m heading. I’ve always been able to feel the music in my soul, it bring out joy and happiness to me and I couldn’t imagine a world without it. Also have to thank the rappers of course, my biggest inspirations have brought me up with the confidence and skill that has always been in me, and i’m just getting started.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Well it’s not everyday that you know someone that would try to take a risk for their true dreams, and I got to say, it’s a bumpy road to the top. I’m not there yet, but there’s absolutely nothing in my mind that can stop me from getting where I want to be and being who I want to be. There’s times where you sit there and wonder if you’re ever going to make it, little views, negative feedback, struggling with money, etc. But in reality, all those things do nothing but help me realize that the goal is not finished and it will never be reached if i just give up.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well i’m a rapper known by Baby Stash, my specialty is making music and i would say what makes me most different from others is how good i have become at being so diverse and making different types of Rap/ Hip-Hop so good, I feel I can sound however I want to and It’s going to sound good. Also a big big thing is my lyrics. I know i’m special with the pen and paper, and i would definitely say that’s what i’m most proud of, how easy i can write something that’s real to the heart, something to party to, u name it i can do it. Oh, and like i said before, I’m only just getting started so wait and see what I got to come.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
2 things. 1, if you have a dream and you believe in yourself, go for it and never give up. Don’t think you’re not good enough, don’t think you can’t achieve your goals, that’s only gonna make those things true if you do that. Keep going and never stop because with the continuous work over time one day your dreams will come true, mine have yet to but I still know it’s to come in the near future. Now 2, don’t let other things distract the goal. Most of us have very busy lives, we can’t blame ourselves it’s just how things go. But you always got to make sure you’re doing something productive towards your goal at least every couple of days if not every day or your going to dig yourself a deeper hole. Stay committed on the grind!
