Daily Inspiration: Meet Bailey Terry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Terry.

Bailey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I actually started my page as a way to document my natural weight loss journey—6 months postpartum with my second baby, just trying to find my rhythm again. At the time, I posted mainly gym workouts and what was helping me.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into more. I started getting out more, exploring everything the DFW food scene has to offer, and just enjoying life again. Now my content is a mix of it all—retired athlete mindset, busy working mom life, good food, outfit finds, and everything in between.
It’s not perfect, but it’s real—and that’s kind of the whole point.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest struggles with posting has honestly been pushing past the noise. When I first started, I was already dealing with my own inner negativity, so putting myself out there didn’t always feel easy. Even now, there are moments of overthinking—wondering if I’m sharing too much, not enough, or if it even resonates.
Balancing it all is another challenge. Between being a working mom of two, trying to stay consistent, and still wanting to actually live in the moment (not just post it), it can feel like a lot.
And then there’s the pressure to fit into a “lane.” My content is a mix of fitness, food, outfits, and real life—and sometimes that feels all over the place. But I’ve learned that it’s okay because it’s a true reflection of me, and that’s what I always come back to.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think what really sets me apart is the balance I bring. By day, I’m a supervisor/senior accountant—structured, detail-oriented, and leading in a fast-paced environment. Off the clock, I’m sharing real life as a mom.
That mix doesn’t always “fit in a box,” but that’s exactly the point. I’m not just posting highlights—I’m showing what it looks like to juggle a career, family, and still make space for yourself. There’s discipline behind what I do, but also room for fun, growth, and just living.
It’s real life with a little bit of everything—and I think that’s what makes it relatable.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for me has shifted a lot. It’s not just about numbers or titles—though I’ve worked hard for both. It’s about balance. Being able to show up as a leader in my career, be present as a mom, and still make time for the things that make me feel like me.
It’s turning something that started from a tough place into a space that feels genuine and positive. It’s connecting with people who relate to my journey—whether that’s fitness, food, work, or just real life in between.
Success is building a life that feels full, not perfect—and being proud of how far I’ve come while still growing.
