Brandon Smallwood

Hi Brandon , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got started early in high school when I used to hum beats that I would create in my head fast forward I met my brother-in-law he showed me how to produce and from there I was hooked that was back in 2006 he let me experiment with his program and I was able to imagine so many types of sounds that I can make it inspired me

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The first struggles I encountered were some of the difficult ones mixing and mastering, trying to compete with my brother-in-law on making music, learning new programs and how to apply myself creatively learning and going to the library All those things were struggles that I have been dealing with since 2006

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the CEO of Lionheart music I have the grounds to sign artists but just one at this time. I am known for making beats for rappers I am a rapper’s best friend because I don’t put any taglines in any of my beats I want a rapper to rap I want a singer to sing I want to hear the voices that’s what sets me apart from the rest

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
