Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian DeLeon.
Hi Brian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Last year I had it in my heart to a run club and there was lot going on trying to get it started mainly a lot of self doubt so the summer came and went. And this year when the spring started I made my rounds joining run clubs again and I found myself towards the end of summer steeping out on faith and started my own run club called Revival Run. It’s a little bit more than just a run club. We fellowship, run, encourage and push each other we, talk about our faith, workout and pray together..
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would like to say it’s been smooth but definitely had some bumps. Staying consistent and starting something new for others to join takes time for people to trust you. We would have runs where a hand full of people would show up after 20 plus people said they were going to be there. I just kept my faith and continued to be obedient and all the people the needed to find us found us. And in the beginning the amount of “No’s” that you get out weigh the “Yes” but all it took was 1 “YES” to absolutely change everything! Everything happened the exactly way it was supposed to. All the ups and the downs working on my behalf!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m getting ready to launch fitness bootcamps at Athletic Zone in Trinity Groves. I’m also getting ready to launch a consulting company where help people grow their business via Social Media strategies! I specialize in encouraging people to believe in and act on the dreams they have for their own life. I’m most proud of being a father to 2 of the best kids in the world. Luke and Joanna DeLeon.
The thing that sets me apart from everyone is I know and believe that nobody else in the world was created with my talents and abilities so therefore everything I do is completely unique and a true 1 of 1
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I like the fact the Dallas is one of the best places in America for independent businesses to thrive ! People from all over the country come to Dallas with a dollar and a dream and make it happen so to be here and live here I feel like anything is possible!
