Daily Inspiration: Meet Brittany Hernandez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Hernandez

Hi Brittany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a mobile bartender with 20 years of service industry experience- 10 of those being behind the bar. I’ve worked in places from dive bars, mom n pop restaurants to music venues and high end restaurants all over the great states of Texas and Florida. My roles included host, server, bartender and manager with extensive training in BOH (back of house) as well. In that time I’ve had the pleasure of creating new bar menus, opening new restaurants, serving countless big names and working some amazing events! I went to bartending school when I was 17 years old(🤫), living in Nashville (im 39 now). I had no idea at the time that this is what I was gonna do and love for so long. I decided to start my own mobile bartending business last year for a few reasons, one of the main ones, being that I had a son and wanted to have the flexibility to make my own schedule while running my own business vs working for someone else. However, I also work a couple days a week at my local bar going on over 3 years now. I love this industry because it’s a fast-paced environment where I get to meet new people and make them happy with my liquid creations and great service!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t exactly say it’s been smooth. But it’s been wild. You have to prove yourself time and time again, so knowing your stuff is vital. Each role had its own set of challenges. Owning my own business has been no exception. Even though I’ve helped manage others businesses pretty well, it isn’t easy starting from the ground up- especially when you’ve never done it for yourself. I’m learning as i go! Confidence is key in keeping focused though. It’s easy to get discouraged. Success doesn’t always look like that chic you follow on tiktok Lol. I really have enjoyed the process though ❤️

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In my role as a mobile bartender, I see myself as a creative artist, crafting not just drinks but lasting impressions. I blend the art of mixology with the unique vibe of each event, ensuring every cocktail tells a story.
I specialize in curating personalized cocktail experiences that perfectly capture the spirit and style of each event. I love all events, small and large but really enjoy working the ones where I get to know the clients on a little more intimate level.
I’m known for providing exceptional service, top notch cocktails and a seamless, personalized experience that adds a flair to every event.
I’m most proud of the lasting connections I create with clients by bringing their vision to life.
What sets me apart from the rest? This is not just a side hustle to me, this is my passion. I love serving people. I take it seriously and I’ve been doing it a really long time.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Absolutely! I utilize social media like Instagram and TikTok to inspire me in a lot of different ways. I follow like-minded people to get great ideas which often spring from looking at things from someone else’s perspective. Also, my husband is very supportive and I have a couple of amazing best friends with the same passion that influence me every day!
