Daily Inspiration: Meet Bruce Geezus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruce Geezus

Hi Bruce, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey started from car rides with my Pops…He would take me with him and ride around the city to either friends or family’s house sharing stories and his music taste…Giving me my own passion for music and stories…We would listen too alot of rap Ice cube and Spice one mainly…a little bit of r&b but mostly hardcore rap…He also had his own studio setup in our house, because he liked to rap and sing also…So as I got older he let me and my friends use his studio and the rest is history lol.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nooo, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road…mostly it’s been the Dallas/ Ft.worth underground market…it’s been nonexistent for most of my journey…but it seems to be coming around now with the help of podcast and things of that nature.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m Music artist based out of Arlington Tx…Most known for my unique style of smooth music…I call it wavy music…it’s a blend of melodies bass and smooth lyrics that float over the track to create my wavy sound….What sets me apart from others is my subject matter…smoothness and beat selection.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was always fun to be around…whether being goofy, funny or just being a pleasant person to be around. I was heavily involved with sports growing up…Basketball, Baseball, Football and even Boxing later on in High school….also start my music journey in middle school but started to get more and more serious in high school as well.
