Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Curry.
Hi Cameron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started music as an interest as early as 13 years of age. Self-taught when it comes to making beats and production, also taught myself how to rap and sing a bit.
It’s always been a passion of mine, I played lots of sports growing up but always wanted to make music.
As far as getting to where I am today, it took a lot of dedication, sacrifices, all that comes with it.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
For something like this, art is never really just a smooth road. Mostly speaking for myself, but you deal with a lot of people not taking you seriously, or times where you don’t feel as creative, due to not receiving the feedback you would like. It’s tough, but once you break that, then you start flying. Support is one of the biggest things in this.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. My beats are what will set me apart from a lot of artist, I kinda have my own lane, but influenced by some very amazing artist. Very proud of getting myself back to school of arts to receiver awards and degrees after taking a break.
