Daily Inspiration: Meet Cat And Eddi Pinegar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cat And Eddi Pinegar.

Hi Cat and Eddi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our journey began long before Mind Flowers Healing Arts had a name. We were both searching for something deeper — a way of living that honored the body, mind, and spirit as one. Over the years, our individual paths naturally wove together through shared experiences in movement, mindfulness, and a love of helping others feel better in their bodies and in their lives.

Eddi came from a background in personal training and a lifelong love of cooking — helping people feel strong, healthy, and nourished from the inside out. Cat’s path was rooted in holistic healing, Ayurveda, yoga, and exploring the emotional and spiritual layers of wellness. Our paths naturally intertwined through years of shared study and practice, deepening our understanding that healing grows through connection, presence, and everyday care.

As we lived this work, we noticed how much lighter, healthier, and happier we felt in every aspect of our lives — physically, mentally, and spiritually. That transformation inspired us to share what we’d learned, to help others find their own rhythm of balance and well-being.

What began as two separate practices gradually became a shared calling. We started offering workshops, retreats, and community spaces that support self-discovery, mindful living, and heart-centered connection. That’s how Mind Flowers Healing Arts blossomed — as a space for growth, healing, and community.

Today, we’re honored to do this work side by side, combining our strengths and continuing to evolve through the people we meet and the experiences we share. Every class, retreat, and conversation reminds us that we’re all learning how to come home to ourselves — and it’s a joy to walk that path together.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most meaningful journeys, ours has had plenty of twists and turns. Building a business rooted in healing and education requires a lot of faith — especially when you’re creating something from the heart rather than following a traditional model. There were times we had to learn new skills on the fly, stretch beyond our comfort zones, and trust our intuition when the path wasn’t clear.

Balancing the creative side of what we do with the practical realities of running a business has been an ongoing teacher. Each challenge has reminded us to return to our practices — to breathe, to stay grounded, and to listen for what’s truly needed next.

Those moments of uncertainty ended up shaping our philosophy. They deepened our commitment to creating spaces like Sacred Self and the School of Yoga Lifestyle, where others can find the same tools that helped us navigate change with grace, balance, and self-awareness.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Mind Flowers Healing Arts, our work centers around helping people reconnect with themselves — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — through education, embodiment, and community. Together, we’ve created programs that invite people to approach wellness as a lifestyle, not a quick fix.

Our School of Yoga Lifestyle is a yearlong journey into mindful living. It blends yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, daily rituals, and self-care practices to help people weave ancient wisdom into modern life in simple, practical ways. Sacred Self is our community space — a supportive environment for reflection, discussion, and integration, where members can grow at their own pace and feel truly seen and supported.

We’re most proud of creating spaces that feel genuine — where people can show up exactly as they are, without pretense or pressure. What sets us apart is the way we blend education with lived experience. We don’t just teach; we walk the path alongside our students and community members, sharing real practices that have shaped our own lives.

Every time someone tells us they feel lighter, more grounded, or more at peace — that’s what reminds us why we do this work.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
We tend to think less in terms of luck and more in terms of alignment. When we’re clear in our purpose and stay grounded in our practices, the right opportunities seem to appear at just the right time — and that can feel a lot like good luck.

There have been moments where things fell into place effortlessly, and others where doors closed and redirected us toward something better. Over time, we’ve learned to trust those rhythms. Every experience — whether it felt fortunate or challenging — has carried a lesson that helped us refine who we are and how we serve.

So, if luck has played a role, it’s been in the way life keeps guiding us toward growth. The more we stay open and present, the more we notice those little synchronicities that remind us we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
