My journey as a barber started with a simple passion for helping people look and feel their best. What began as cutting hair for family and friends quickly grew into a career built on consistency, hard work, and relationships. Over the years, I realized barbering is about much more than haircuts—it’s about building confidence, creating connections, and making a positive impact in my community.
As my skills grew, so did my entrepreneurial mindset. I built my own brand, CBCUTZ, and began looking for ways to expand beyond the barber chair. From organizing community back-to-school drives to mentoring young people and developing business ideas, I’ve always believed in using my success to give back. Every challenge I’ve faced has taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of never giving up.
Today, I’m continuing to grow as both a barber and entrepreneur. My goal is to build businesses that create opportunities for others while continuing to serve my community. I believe success isn’t just measured by financial growth, but by the lives you impact along the way. My story is still being written, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has definitely not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced financial challenges, self-doubt, and moments where I questioned whether I should keep going. Building a business from the ground up takes patience, sacrifice, and faith. There were times when business was slow, opportunities didn’t work out, and I had to balance family responsibilities while chasing my dreams.
One of my biggest challenges has been staying consistent through setbacks. Instead of allowing obstacles to stop me, I used them as motivation to grow. Every difficult season taught me something valuable about resilience, leadership, and perseverance.
As a barber, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about cutting hair—it’s about building trust, serving people, and creating lasting relationships. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that every failure is a lesson and every challenge is an opportunity to improve. Those experiences have shaped me into someone who doesn’t give up easily and is committed to making a positive impact on my community.
Today, I continue to push forward with faith, determination, and the belief that every obstacle has prepared me for greater opportunities ahead. My journey has made me stronger, and it’s the reason I continue striving to inspire others while building businesses that leave a lasting legacy.

I wear several hats, but at the core of everything I do is creating opportunities and adding value. I’m a professional barber and the owner of CBCUTZ, where I specialize in precision cuts, building relationships with clients, and helping people feel confident. For me, barbering is more than a haircut—it’s about making a positive impact and creating an experience that keeps people coming back.
Beyond barbering, I’m an entrepreneur who is always looking to grow and build new businesses. I’m passionate about serving my community through events like back-to-school drives, mentoring youth, and creating opportunities that help others succeed. I believe business should be about more than making money—it should leave a lasting impact.
I’m also a dedicated day trader, specializing in trading stock options. Day trading has taught me discipline, patience, risk management, and the importance of making decisions based on strategy rather than emotion. Every trading day is an opportunity to learn, improve, and strengthen my mindset.
What I’m most proud of is my resilience. No matter the obstacles, I continue to grow, adapt, and chase bigger goals. I believe what sets me apart is my willingness to keep learning, my commitment to excellence, and my desire to inspire others. Whether I’m behind the barber chair, building a business, or studying the markets, I approach everything with passion, discipline, and the mindset that success comes from consistency and never giving up.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is watching my mom and dad work tirelessly every single day to provide for me and my sister. As a kid, I didn’t fully understand the sacrifices they were making, but looking back, I realize how much they gave up to make sure we always had what we needed. There were long days, late nights, and moments when money was tight, but they never let us feel the weight of their struggles. They taught me that hard work, perseverance, and putting family first are values that can’t be replaced.
Seeing their dedication shaped the person I am today. It taught me that success isn’t handed to you—it’s earned through consistency, sacrifice, and determination. Those lessons are the reason I work so hard as a barber, entrepreneur, and day trader. Whenever I face challenges, I think back to my parents’ example and remind myself that if they could push through difficult times to create a better life for our family, then I can keep pushing toward my own goals.
