With over 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience, and decades in business and real estate, I started Golden Bookkeeping to help business owners save time, reduce stress, and run a more profitable operation.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While I am really good with numbers from being in real estate, lending, and investor relations, initially it was transitioning from single entry bookkeeping to double entry bookkeeping. Everything has to balance for it to work, your assets need to equal your liability plus equity. Another challenge was going from thinking our investors were our clients, when really they are our vendors. You pay your vendors, your clients pay you.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Above all else I strive for 100% transparency because it takes weeks & months to build trust, and seconds to lose it. After being involved with raising capital, real estate, and investor relations for decades, I am real happy finding and correcting mistakes in a companies books. It also gives me time to spend with my wife of 20 years, and we enjoy traveling to new places, and discovering new adventures.
