Daily Inspiration: Meet Diego Tario

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Diego Tario.

Diego Tario

Hi Diego, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I am Diego Tario and I’m an artist/painter born and raised in Dallas, Texas. As creatives, I think most of us start as kids watching our favorite cartoons and trying to draw the characters when we are bored in school.

I didn’t pick up a paintbrush until I was 31, but as soon as I started sharing my work on social platforms, the people interested in my art started reaching out for personal commissions.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
A smooth road, definitely not, but I wouldn’t want an easy trip.

Rough roads build character. Promoting your artwork to the internet world will not always result in instant support. You have algorithms no one understands, but you also need to be able to push yourself without the support of friends or even family. It’s up to you.

This is your dream, not theirs. If you keep pushing your craft, keep yourself motivated, and stay committed, the right audience will always find you.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I think what sets some of my work apart from others is quality and attention to detail.

Creatives are always finding ways to create shortcuts, but I feel that with realism your art shows less passion when you become a lazy painter.

How do you think about luck?
I think we create our own luck, and if you believe in bad luck, you create your own as well. I’m into manifestation. Practice ethics and speak positivity into existence.
